About The Position

Provides management and leadership in the department, oversees departmental operations, and coordinates clinical activities. Participates in staff recruitment and hiring, and schedules, supervises, trains, develops, and disciplines staff. Assists in developing protocols and performance improvement activities to assess processes and outcomes. Performs patient care as necessary.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited respiratory program, or a combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of a degree.
• Five years of experience in Respiratory Care.
• PA Respiratory Care License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or in a related field of study.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a critical patient care setting.
