About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor provides specialized, compassionate respiratory care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role supervises patient care and breathing treatments, leads patient assessments, develops personalized care plans, and addresses patient concerns. The supervisor builds relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs and supports their recovery and independence.

Requirements

• Current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication.
• Supervise patient care and breathing treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Support patients' recovery and celebrate their progress.
