About The Position

As a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor at Encompass Health, you will help patients facing respiratory challenges and support their rehabilitation and well-being. You will provide compassionate care, supervise respiratory care and breathing treatments, lead patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. The role also involves building relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs and supporting them through recovery. You will work with a collaborative team and have access to equipment and technology in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication.
• Supervise patient care and breathing treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support successful recovery.
• Support and celebrate patients’ progress during recovery.
