About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor provides compassionate respiratory care to patients facing respiratory challenges in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role includes delivering respiratory treatments and medication, supervising patient care, conducting assessments, developing personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns. The supervisor builds supportive relationships with patients by attending to their physical, mental, and emotional needs throughout recovery. The position works with a collaborative care team and uses specialized skills, equipment, and technology to support patient rehabilitation and well-being.

Requirements

• Current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication.
• Supervise patient care and breathing treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
• Support and celebrate patients’ progress and victories.
