About The Position

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor provides respiratory care to patients and supervises care and breathing treatments. The role includes conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns. The supervisor builds relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs and supports their recovery. Requirements

• Current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification.
• Two years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Supervisor or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medication.
• Supervise patient care and breathing treatments.
• Lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Identify and resolve patient concerns.
• Understand patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs to support successful recovery.
