About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring an evening-shift Supervisor, Respiratory Therapy at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to midnight; some hours may include third-shift hours. The ideal candidate has supervisory and bedside experience in a critical-care environment. Sentara Leigh Hospital provides general medical/surgical and ambulatory services, critical care, emergency services, and specialty care. Requirements

Associate degree or bachelor's degree. Applicants without a degree may also be considered if they held RRT credentials before January 1, 2006, or graduated from a military respiratory therapy program and hold RRT credentials.
State respiratory license.
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
BLS certification required at the time of hire.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Two years of respiratory care experience.
