About The Position

The Supervisor - Nutrition Services supervises the day-to-day operation of the Food and Nutrition Department, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. The role performs clerical support and other duties necessary for optimal patient care, including supporting the safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department, meeting budgetary requirements, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

This is a full-time, variable-shift position at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Illinois. The stated compensation range is $20.00 to $28.97. The exact starting compensation is determined during applicant selection based on factors that may include skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current food safety certification from an accredited organization.
• Two years of experience in food service operations.
• Ability to use a PC.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Service Supervisor certification preferred.
