About The Position

The Supervisor Medical Staff Services oversees the medical staff services team supporting the South Puget Sound Care Network, including Providence St Peter Hospital and Providence Centralia Hospital. The role may oversee credentialing, privileging, continuing medical education (CME), medical staff governance, and related regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accreditation standards. Requirements

Within one year of hire, obtain either Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist certification or Certified Professional Medical Services Management certification from the National Association Medical Staff Services.
Five years of executive or administrative work within a medical staff office.
Three years of experience coordinating with administrators, upper-level managers, medical staff officers, and physician practices.
Two years of supervisory or lead experience; candidates with demonstrated leadership responsibilities, advanced subject matter expertise, and the ability to effectively guide and support caregivers in a team environment may be considered.
Two years of experience with MDStaff or similar credentialing software.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree or five years of work in a medical staff office.
