Requirements

  • 2+ years in a Walmart maintenance technician role or 1+ year in industrial maintenance (welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics) with team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial warehouse or manufacturing maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated management experience with the ability to lead teams and projects.
  • Experience with electrical systems, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • 2 years' experience in a Walmart maintenance technician position OR 1 year's experience in industrial maintenance (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics), including six months leading a work or project team.
  • 2 years’ experience performing Industrial Warehouse or manufacturing maintenance activities (for example, preventative maintenance, material handling equipment, power equipment, facilities upkeep).

  • 2 years' degree or certification in a maintenance related field (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial technology).
  • ABO Certificate for Optical Lab
  • Industrial Maintenance Certification
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Supervising, evaluating, diagnosing, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees in industrial maintenance (for example, welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of maintenance technicians, delegating tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for material handling and power equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and custodial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to optimize facility performance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and analytical tools to track performance, report results, and drive improvements.
