About The Position

Under direction, oversees all activities of the On-Site Service Technicians and manages their schedules and collection efficiency. The role provides site supervision across multiple locations and travels within the assigned area to visit client sites and provide on-site placement and collection of waste containers for WMHS programs and services, including Sharps, Rx, Haz, and Document Management. The position is based at multiple hospitals throughout Connecticut. It primarily operates in a professional office environment and is designated safety sensitive.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (accredited).
1–3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Valid driver’s license.
Strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols.
May be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing, in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Select, train, manage, and develop an effective and efficient Services staff.
Manage On-Site Service Technicians’ schedules and collection efficiency, ensuring adequate staffing to support service needs.
Supervise On-Site Service Technicians at multiple locations.
Coordinate delivery and pickup with MAE, outside vendors, and others as required.
Oversee scheduling, dispatching, training, and evaluation of On-Site Service Technicians, as assigned.
Travel within the assigned area to visit client sites and proactively and professionally resolve customer service questions, problems, and issues.
Travel between customer facilities to place and collect waste containers for WMHS programs and services, including Sharps, Rx, Haz, and Document Management, as required or requested.
Oversee outside vendor services, as needed.
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
