Supervisor Driving
About The Position
Assist with the day-to-day management of a parking location, ensuring operations follow the location’s contractual guidelines and company policies and procedures. The role supports positive client relations and a professional business image, helps improve client and customer satisfaction, and assists with location management duties as assigned. It also includes customer assistance, parking equipment maintenance and repair, general maintenance, cleanup, reporting incidents and safety concerns, and substituting for other positions when necessary. The employee must know the garage and nearby streets, landmarks, and freeways.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, and at least one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clear oral communication, including listening, seeking clarification, and responding to questions.
- Clear written communication and ability to read and interpret written information.
- Positive customer-service attitude and responsiveness to service requests.
- Adaptability to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
- Sound and accurate judgment.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of a location and ensure parking operations comply with contractual guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with day-to-day activities at assigned locations and management duties as assigned.
- Courteously assist customers.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
- Report known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and similar materials.
- Substitute for any position when necessary.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and of nearby major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
- Complete other duties as needed.
