About The Position

The Supervisor, Distribution provides customer service, maintains product availability, and supervises distribution personnel to distribute parts effectively and efficiently to an assigned division dealer network. The role supports dealers and internal departments, processes orders and shipments, manages inventory, allocates products, and trains and coaches assigned employees. Duties are performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience without a degree, or at least 3 years of related experience with a degree.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to remain diplomatic in argumentative situations.
• Good organizational skills, including the ability to multitask.
• Basic proficiency using SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including delivering information clearly and concisely and listening and communicating effectively with others.
• Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to function in a general office environment and accomplish the role's tasks and duties.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dealer inquiries by phone, email, and fax about product availability, dealer order status, product applications, and compatibility.
• Process dealer orders daily.
• Resolve shipping issues and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Help Sales and other department personnel locate equipment and kits, answer questions about product availability and price, and resolve invoice and equipment problems.
• Allocate products to dealers as assigned by Regional Sales Managers.
• Monitor and control inventory levels within the assigned division through accurate shipment invoicing, physical inventory, and adjustments as needed.
• Supervise assigned Distribution Department employees, including distributing and reviewing work, training, and coaching.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
