About The Position

The Distribution Supervisor oversees day-to-day order processing to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely operations. The role manages workflow, develops operational plans, optimizes productivity, and supports operational excellence in alignment with DCL Logistics standards and business goals. The supervisor leads a team of 15–20 distribution associates, monitors performance, promotes safety, and maintains compliance with applicable quality and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment with a strong sense of urgency.
• At least three years of experience in an e-commerce distribution center.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily order processing operations to ensure accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
• Develop and execute daily operational plans to meet or exceed productivity and service-level goals.
• Lead, guide, and coach a team of 15–20 distribution associates, supporting consistent performance and professional growth.
• Conduct daily team meetings and performance check-ins, and support employee recognition initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain operational reports and metrics to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote and enforce health and safety protocols throughout the facility.
• Adhere to 5S standards.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
