About The Position

The Dietary Supervisor supervises dietary staff, coordinates daily assignments, monitors food preparation and service, and ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. The role promotes excellent customer service, efficient department operations, and support for patients’ nutritional needs. The supervisor is expected to set a positive example by displaying a friendly and professional attitude toward customers and staff.

This is a full-time position with various shifts and rotating holidays and weekends as needed. A pre-employment drug screening is required at this drug-free facility.

Requirements

• Must have an MCHD Food Handlers Card.
• Must have previous supervisor experience in food service.
• Must be able to motivate staff to complete tasks.
• Must present oneself in a professional manner and speak clearly.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures, policies and procedures, and verbal directions.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts and be willing to be cross-trained.
• Must be a team player.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Nice To Haves

• Validation of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; related prior work experience may be considered.
