About The Position

The Supervisor - Deli Lodge prepares and serves deli products to patrons and assists the Deli Manager with daily operations. The role helps ensure product rotation and freshness, outlet cleanliness, consistent food quality, and adherence to employee uniform standards. Duties also include supporting register opening and closing, completing opening and closing checklists, taking orders, preparing sandwiches and side orders, serving beverages, and performing prep work as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and maintain a neat appearance.
• Must be able to work efficiently with others as part of a team and work well with the public.
• Must be able to operate a cash register.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work all shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Prior management, MICROS, and money-handling experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• TIPS and Food Handlers certifications are helpful; training will be provided if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper product rotation, product freshness, and outlet cleanliness.
• Ensure employees are in proper uniform and spot-check food items for consistency.
• Assist the cashier with opening and closing the register.
• Complete opening and closing checklists with employees.
• Take patrons’ orders, prepare sandwiches and side orders, and serve beverages in a timely manner.
• Keep the deli clean and organized according to established standards.
• Perform assorted prep work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
