About The Position

The Retail Supervisor at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge is a full-time seasonal role beginning in February 2027. The position works closely with the Retail Manager to manage cash, employee attendance, revenue assurance, and store opening and closing. The supervisor assists guests and helps ensure efficient, courteous service while supporting store operations and team performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail and guest services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in employee training, development, and motivation.
• Educate guests on products and services.
• Order, receive, and maintain inventory.
• Ensure completion of daily and weekly tasks for the store and employees.
• Work with the Retail Manager on cash management, employee attendance, revenue assurance, and opening and closing the store.
• Assist guests and ensure efficient, courteous service.
