About The Position
The Barista at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge helps ensure service standards are met and exceeded by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and a clean, comfortable store environment. The role involves serving customers, preparing specialty coffee beverages according to company recipes and standards, maintaining service areas and equipment, and following health, safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and register policies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver legendary customer service with a customers-come-first attitude.
- Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customer cues.
- Assist customers in selecting specialty coffee beverages.
- Maintain the customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
- Follow company recipes and standards, as well as health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Adhere to cash-handling and register policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
