About The Position
The Barista at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge ensures service standards are met and surpassed by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. The role involves serving customers, preparing specialty coffee beverages according to company recipes and standards, and keeping the customer service area and equipment clean and appealing. The Barista also follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and adheres to cash-handling and register policies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver legendary customer service with a customers-come-first attitude.
- Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
- Assist customers in selecting specialty coffee beverages.
- Maintain the customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
- Follow company recipes and standards, as well as health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Adhere to cash-handling and register policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
