About The Position

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team, focusing on workforce management, productivity optimization, timely claim resolution, and first-line escalation support. This position works out of the Lake Mary, Florida location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma
• 4+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of payer rules, denials, and billing workflows
• Proficiency with AR systems and Excel

• 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and supervise AR staff, monitoring productivity and providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee time and attendance, productivity scorecards, workflow backfills, and adherence to performance standards.
• Identify, document, and analyze denial trends to improve processes and reduce future denials.
• Maintain and distribute aging reports; ensure timely follow-up and accurate cash posting.
• Develop and implement workflow policies to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Serve as first-line escalation for AR collectors to resolve complex issues and payer disputes.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership decision-making.
