We are seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent to join our team in the Fox Valley area. In this key leadership role, you will oversee field operations on exciting commercial, retail, multifamily, and mixed-use construction projects, serving as the driving force behind project execution by coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards, and leading jobsite teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients and communities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading commercial construction projects, preferably valued between $5 million and $15 million.
  • Experience managing field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety programs, and project quality.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of construction software, including Procore, Viewpoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and ability to travel up to two hours to project sites as needed.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certificate, engineering degree, journeyman-level trade experience, or foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all phases of field construction operations from project startup through closeout.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure on-time completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labor, equipment, materials, and site logistics to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and client expectations.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project meetings to support effective project execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field challenges, constructability issues, and schedule impacts to minimize delays and costs.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, photo records, and other project records.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts; lead subcontractor coordination; drive quality control, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
  • Serve as a key liaison among owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel while mentoring Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Assistant Superintendents to promote collaboration, communication, and project success.
