About The Position

Marsh is hiring Summer Interns for its 10-week Early Career Program in the Brokerage Practice within its Risk business. The internship is based in Chicago, Dallas, or Houston, starts in June 2027, and follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office. Interns work with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify risks to their people, property, and financial or strategic goals, gaining hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking. The program includes a cohort community, a dedicated program team, learning and development opportunities, mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, networking, and a summer capstone presentation to the team and senior leadership. Exceptional juniors may be offered a place in Marsh’s full-time program after the internship. Candidates select two preferred practice areas and an aligned office location. Available areas include Aviation, Casualty, Construction, Cyber, FINPRO, Marine, Cargo, and Logistics, Multinational, Property, and Energy & Power. Practice and office availability varies. Brokerage teams assess client risks, develop or arrange insurance solutions, work with insurance companies, and help clients manage and reduce risk costs. The hourly rate is $25 and is standardized and not negotiable.
