About The Position

ACCIONA Energía is seeking interns to support its North American teams. The internship provides students at local universities with hands-on exposure to the renewable energy industry and the potential for full-time employment after graduation. Interns are assigned specific projects and goals, defined by their manager, to apply their field of study through practical experience. Interns work 40 hours per week on-site in the downtown Chicago office. The program also offers opportunities to connect with other interns and participate in company activities, including a renewable energy facility visit, a summer company outing, weekly Friday intern lunches, office events, and wellness activities. The Chicago office has a modern open layout, collaborative spaces, break-out areas, complimentary coffee and healthy snacks, and free access to the building fitness center.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Highly motivated, with strong initiative and a passion for quality work.
• Adaptable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Support ACCIONA Energía’s North American teams.
• Complete manager-defined projects and goals, applying the intern’s field of study through hands-on experience.
• Participate in internship and office activities, including intern lunches, a site visit, company outing, and employee events and wellness activities.
