About The Position

AIG is seeking a Summer Intern for the Warranty department to contribute to the transformation of how customers manage risk. This 9-week program offers hands-on experience, industry knowledge, and opportunities to work on dynamic projects with leaders. Interns will gain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment, participate in instructor-led masterclasses, hear from senior leaders, and build connections through mentoring, networking, and volunteering. Following the internship, there's a possibility of being considered for an Analyst role starting in July 2028.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
  • Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
  • Summer Intern positions are in-person opportunities, requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include Risk Management & Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and management of warranty, service contract, and protection programs for clients across a variety of industries.
  • Partner with underwriting, operations, claims, technology, and client management teams to deliver effective solutions and support program needs.
  • Assist in analyzing program performance, customer trends, and business information to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Support client relationships by helping understand business needs and delivering solutions that enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist with day-to-day program activities, including reporting, documentation, and coordination across internal and external partners.
  • Develop knowledge of AIG’s Warranty & Service Programs business while building analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
