About The Position

AIG is seeking Summer Interns for the Multinational department to play a part in transforming how customers manage risk. This program offers opportunities to learn and grow skills and experience as a valued member of the team. The Multinational business is a dynamic area within General Insurance, assisting clients with cross-border operations. AIG Multinational designs and delivers tailored insurance solutions, working with a global network of professionals to implement compliant and seamless insurance programs that meet evolving client needs. The Summer Internship program is a 9-week immersive experience in a fast-moving, global insurance company, providing hands-on experience, industry knowledge, and opportunities to work on dynamic projects with leaders. Interns join key business teams to gain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. The program includes instructor-led masterclasses, sessions with senior leaders, and networking opportunities through mentoring circles, events, and volunteering. Interns may be considered for future roles, with the Analyst program beginning in July 2028.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
  • Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
  • Summer Intern positions are in-person opportunities, requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Preferred majors include Risk Management & Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of multinational insurance programs for clients operating across multiple countries and regions.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, legal, operations, and other teams across AIG’s global network to deliver coordinated insurance solutions.
  • Assist in reviewing client needs, program structures, coverage requirements, and local market considerations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to help ensure programs are implemented accurately and efficiently across jurisdictions.
