About The Position

The Summer Hospitality Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience designed to accelerate career readiness by providing hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of Great Wolf Lodge, a leading hospitality and entertainment brand. The program offers real mentorship and a direct pathway to full-time opportunities. Interns will deliver exceptional service by embodying the company's values: We Are One Pack, We Improve Everyday, and We Get It Done with Care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in an associate degree or bachelor's degree program during the internship.
  • Available to complete a minimum of a 10-week program (End of May to Early August).
  • Experience utilizing basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays).
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the US.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
  • Previous experience with cash transactions and Point of Sale systems.
  • Proven teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Guest Experience: Greet and engage guests, maintain professional presentation, respond promptly to inquiries, and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and asset protection protocols; participate in required safety and emergency training; report incidents or hazards; maintain organized, clean work areas.
  • Operations: Perform duties outlined in the department-specific job description for the assigned area (Guest Services, Housekeeping, Retail, Attractions, Entertainment, or Food & Beverage); maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Program Responsibilities: Engage in cross-departmental job shadows, collaborate with intern cohort on a group project, complete required learning, actively participate in networking events, and take ownership of professional development.
