About The Position

The BRIDGE (Building Relationships, Inspiring Development, Growing Excellence) Summer Internship Program offers motivated students a hands-on, immersive experience designed to launch a successful career in hospitality. Interns gain real-world exposure to resort operations, work alongside experienced hospitality leaders, and participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the guest experience. Hospitality Operations Interns can look forward to gaining valuable hands-on experience along South Carolina’s Grand Strand, a vibrant coastal destination with a thriving tourism and hospitality industry that welcomes millions of visitors each year. Interns may be placed at participating locations throughout the Grand Strand, including the Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Pawleys Island areas. Through a combination of hands-on learning, mentorship, and leadership development, the program gives interns the opportunity to build their professional skills while exploring future career opportunities with Brittain Resorts & Hotels. All BRIDGE internships are paid, allowing interns to earn while they learn and experience a summer along the South Carolina coast.

Responsibilities

Hands-on learning and real-world experience across key hospitality departments, including Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and more
Exposure to both day-to-day resort operations and behind-the-scenes processes
Mentorship and guidance from experienced hospitality leaders
Opportunities to shadow property leadership and participate in operational meetings and property walkthroughs
A capstone project focused on enhancing the guest experience or improving operational efficiency
