Cordell & Cordell is seeking highly motivated second-year law students with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in family law to participate in its paid Summer Associate Program. The program is designed to mirror the experience of a first-year associate and offers practical legal work, direct mentorship, and professional development while working with experienced attorneys and firm leaders. The position is based in an assigned office for the program; participants must be able to relocate or reside there for its duration. Long-term employment locations may differ from the summer office. After the program, many associates are offered part-time law clerk positions during their third year of law school and full-time positions after graduation. The role is not eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and bonuses, or for the firm’s full-time benefits package.
