2028 Summer Analyst - San Francisco Healthcare
About The Position
The Summer Analyst will join Lazard’s San Francisco Healthcare Banking Group, which provides financial advisory services to established and emerging clients across the biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and life science tools sectors. The role involves financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, contributing to client presentations, and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments may include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets. Day-to-day activities depend on the analyst’s prior experience and abilities. Summer Analysts are expected to spend nine weeks at the Firm. The internship begins with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York and includes formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and social and networking events with bankers across the Firm.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- Top academic performance, with a 3.7 GPA.
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
- Strong quantitative background.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
