About The Position

Lazard is a global financial advisory and asset management firm with a close, collaborative community of just over 3,000 professionals. The Summer Analyst will join the Chicago Healthcare Group and support financial advisory work for clients in the Healthcare Services sector. Assignments may include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets. Day-to-day work depends on the candidate’s prior experience and abilities and may involve financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, developing client presentations, and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Summer Analysts are expected to spend nine weeks at the Firm. The internship begins with a comprehensive week-long training program in New York City, and includes formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and social and networking events with bankers across the Firm. Requirements

Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
Top academic performance, with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.

Strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
