About The Position

Lazard is seeking a 2028 Summer Analyst for its Chicago Restructuring & Liability Management team. The role provides hands-on exposure to live deal and pitch work, building a foundation in restructuring and capital structure analysis. Summer Analysts work on assignments involving in-court and out-of-court restructurings, liability management, and broader market analysis, while collaborating with team members at all levels, including senior leadership. The internship lasts nine weeks and begins with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York. Participants also receive formal mentorship and take part in general and restructuring training, team events, and social and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2028 or May/June 2029.
• Top academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling.
