2028 Summer Analyst - Chicago Healthcare
About The Position
Lazard is hiring a 2028 Summer Analyst for its Chicago Healthcare Group. The analyst will join a dedicated team providing financial advisory services to clients in the Healthcare Service sector. Day-to-day work depends on prior experience and abilities and may include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, developing client presentations, and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments may involve mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets. Summer Analysts are expected to spend nine weeks at the Firm. The internship begins with a comprehensive, week-long training program in New York City. Interns receive formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and opportunities to participate in social and networking events with bankers across the Firm.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with expected graduation in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- Top academic performance, with a 3.7+ GPA.
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
- Strong quantitative background.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling.
