About The Position

Lazard is a global financial advisory and asset management firm with a collaborative culture and more than 3,000 professionals. The Summer Analyst will join the Minneapolis Banking Group, supporting financial advisory work for clients in the Industrials and Technology sectors. The role includes financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, helping develop client presentations, and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments may cover mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets. Summer Analysts are expected to spend nine weeks at the Firm and begin with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York. The program also includes formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and social and networking events with bankers across the Firm.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with expected graduation in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
• Top academic performance.
• Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
• Strong quantitative background.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling.
