About The Position

Lazard is hiring a Summer Analyst to join its Minneapolis Banking Group, working with a dedicated team providing financial advisory services to clients in the Industrials and Technology sectors. Summer Analysts are expected to spend nine weeks at the Firm. Assignments may involve mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets. The internship begins with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York. Participants receive formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and opportunities to attend social and networking events with bankers across the Firm.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a US university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with an expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
• Top academic performance.
• Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
• Strong quantitative background.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and modeling.
• Conduct company and industry research.
• Participate in developing client presentations.
• Interact with senior bankers and clients.
• Contribute to assignments involving M&A, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, and capital markets.
