About The Position

Trinity Hunt Partners (THP), a middle-market private equity firm based in Dallas with over $2.5 billion in assets under management, is hiring a Private Equity Summer Analyst for its 10-week Summer Analyst Internship Program. THP partners with business and consumer services companies to accelerate growth and build industry-leading platforms, providing strategic, operational, and financial support to management teams.

The Summer Analyst will assist with investment sourcing and evaluation, including financial modeling and data analysis, and prepare materials summarizing findings on investment opportunities. The role also supports portfolio company management teams with financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as THP’s business development and investor relations activities. The position is onsite in Dallas, Texas. Strong performance during the internship may lead to an opportunity to join as a full-time Analyst starting the following summer (2029).

Requirements

• Superior academic achievement at a top-tier undergraduate program, with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and an engaging personality.
• High intellectual curiosity about private equity, investing, and company building.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing new investment opportunities.
• Evaluate new deals, including financial modeling and analysis of data sets.
• Prepare materials summarizing qualitative and quantitative findings on investment opportunities.
• Work with portfolio company management teams to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Support business development and investor relations.
