About The Position

Legends Global is hiring a Suites Bartender at SoFi Stadium. The role is responsible for delivering a positive and engaging guest experience by accurately preparing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. The position uses an electronic point-of-sale system in a non-cash environment to process transactions. The bartender prepares cocktails and other beverages, provides wine service and beverage recommendations, serves food to bar guests, and supports the culinary team with mixers and garnishes. The role also includes maintaining and replenishing the bar, organizing catering storage areas, following health and safety standards, attending mandatory meetings, and completing other duties assigned by a supervisor. Compensation is $18.60 per hour. The position is represented by Unite Here Local 11, and union dues are required as part of membership. Legends is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

At least two years of bartending experience, with verifiable references.
Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and wines.
Ability to create and serve distinctive drinks in a timely manner.
Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team during service setup and execution.
Ability to listen effectively and take direction from a supervisor.
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Personable, friendly, and welcoming manner; willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate with guests.
Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
Ability to transport up to 50 pounds continuously.
Must meet state and local food-handler health requirements and hold ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certificates.
Must have a verifiable bartending certificate or have completed bartending school.
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages accurately, promptly, and in accordance with company standards.
Greet guests and take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests.
Use spirits, liqueurs, fruit, herbs, and spices to prepare drinks and cocktails.
Maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally to support drink preparation and beverage promotion.
Provide information about wine characteristics, make suitable suggestions, and serve wine using proper techniques.
Work with the culinary team to create beverage mixers and garnishes.
Check guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
Handle an assigned bank and follow cash-handling procedures; collect payment and balance receipts.
Keep the assigned bar equipped with necessary tools and products, and prepare inventory or purchase requisitions to replenish supplies.
Serve food items to guests seated at the bar.
Maintain knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
Clean and organize the work area, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass doors and windows as needed.
Organize catering storage areas.
Attend mandatory meetings.
Perform general cleaning in accordance with health and safety standards.
Follow safe work habits, safety policies, procedures, and regulations; complete required safety training.
Complete other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
