About The Position

Goochland Powhatan Community Services is seeking a full-time SUD Care Coordinator to provide case management services to adolescents and adults living with substance use disorders. The role focuses especially on individuals with opioid use disorders on the OBAT team. Case management includes connecting clients with services, advocacy, and supportive counseling to help them cope with substance use disorders. The coordinator documents visits and supports in accordance with agency and state guidelines. The successful candidate must pass a background check and possess a valid Virginia driver's license. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology, and/or CSAC-S.
One to two years of related case management or care coordination experience working with individuals with opiate use and other substance use disorders.
Experience necessary for credentialing as a Qualified Mental Health Provider may be considered.
Possess a valid Virginia driver's license.
Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

CSAC certification is preferred.
