About The Position

Subway is hiring a Manager to help lead its restaurant team and support the brand’s growth. The role focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience, serving quality food, maintaining the restaurant, and supporting safe and effective operations. The manager will receive training on the role and responsibilities. Shift availability varies by location and may include day, evening, or weekend shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant environment, including experience supervising and training staff.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to operate a sales system or cash register.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift 10 to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Provide an excellent guest experience.
Ensure great food is prepared and served.
Keep the restaurant functional, clean, and attractive.
Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, including awareness of local and national health and food safety codes.
Manage inventory and money-control systems.
Coordinate local marketing initiatives, including community outreach.
Recruit staff.
Maintain business records and analyze them to help increase sales.
Identify and contact prospective guests to promote sales.
Support local and national marketing initiatives and ensure the restaurant is prepared for each new marketing window.
Maintain restaurant safety and security standards.
Work as a team player.
