About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a part-time Substitute Guide for its Galleria school. The role has varied hours Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Substitute Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. The position includes preparing intentional learning spaces and assisting with individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. Substitute Guides help children build confidence and independence while working with Lead Guides and other team members.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

• Prior Montessori experience.
