About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a part-time Substitute Guide for its school at Galleria. The role has varied hours Monday through Friday within the 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. window. Substitute Guides help children ages 0–6 develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Substitute Assistant Guide supports mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and Children’s House children ages 3–6. The role helps create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. This includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.
