About The Position

The Substitute Food Service Worker works in a local school kitchen or cafeteria on an as-needed basis for the Morrisville School District School Division. The role supports food preparation and service, sanitation, inventory and cost controls, cashiering, and cleaning. The stated schedule is daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends and holidays off. Pay is $15 per hour, and a 401(k) is offered.

Requirements

• Obtain required clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Be able to read recipes and perform basic math.
• Have a positive and consistent work ethic.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be willing to learn and grow in the position.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food.
• Portion and serve food.

• Wash dishes manually and perform cleaning duties.
