Substitute Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - The LEAP School
About The Position
The LEAP School is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring Assistant Teachers for its Lexington, Bedford, and Sudbury locations. Full-time and part-time positions are available now and for July and September. Teachers build meaningful relationships with students and individualize their teaching to meet students’ needs, while collaborating with colleagues and participating in professional development. The school offers extensive training, a supportive learning environment, and small class sizes. Teachers design curriculum for their groups based on their passions, students’ interests and needs, and collaboration with colleagues. A Curriculum Director at each school supports teachers in presenting their curriculum. Supervisors support teachers by participating in classrooms, meeting individually each week, and guiding professional development. Meetings and planning take place during regularly scheduled hours, and the calendar includes built-in vacations throughout the year.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- EEC Teacher qualified or working toward EEC Teacher qualifications.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers is desired.
