About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisors for its Glendale location. The role provides an exceptional customer experience to visitors to Equinox and The Shop, follows the Shop MOD’s direction on business strategies and action plans, and assists with completing operational tasks accurately and on time. The position supports sales goals, customer service, inventory and loss-prevention practices, product presentation, housekeeping, and effective relationships across the team.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer service business, preferably retail.
• Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to use new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly individual sales goals and contribute to the total monthly store goal.
• Provide an unparalleled customer experience to visitors to The Shop and Equinox.
• Maintain knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Consistently follow loss-prevention and inventory-management policies.
• Understand company communications and training materials, and assist the Shop MOD with assigned operational tasks, completing them accurately and on time.
• Assist the Shop MOD in maintaining company brand standards through merchandising, marketing direction, and adherence to the Shop dress code.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and organization on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Build effective relationships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of activities and general standards and practices in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures, and support company initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
