About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Glendale location. This full-time opportunity is suited to candidates with customer service experience, including retail or food service backgrounds; the company will provide on-the-job training in cannabis. Budtenders assist patients and customers with product recommendations, help create a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. The schedule is five days per week, with eight-hour shifts and two days off. Applicants must have open availability for morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays, and be able to work at least 30 hours per week. Pay is $15.50–$16 per hour plus a shared tip pool.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
• Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restrictions.
• Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for a minimum of eight hours daily.
• Comfortable using a computer for the duration of the shift.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Personal smartphone required; iPhone iOS 14 or later or Android OS 4.4 or later.
• At least 21 years old.
• Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience in retail or food service, such as at Starbucks or Target.

Responsibilities
