About The Position

Advisors for various and unanticipated worksites through the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Participate in all phases of the full software applications life cycle including the design, testing, and implementation of applications and systems software. Understand user requirements and ensure those requirements are achieved through software applications. Perform architectural reviews for developed applications. Work with software architects to define Architecture Strategy for existing .Net based platforms. Technical environment: IIS, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, WF, WCF, WPF, XML, JQuery, Microsoft Enterprise Libraries, Programming in Object Oriented Environment, Design Patterns, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Agile and Scrum Development.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in Software Development required.
Required Skills: IIS, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, WF, WCF, WPF, XML, JQuery, Microsoft Enterprise Libraries, Programming in Object Oriented Environment, Design Patterns, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Agile and Scrum Development.
Telecommuting permitted.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or in Software Development also acceptable.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the full software applications life cycle including the design, testing, and implementation of applications and systems software.
Understand user requirements and ensure those requirements are achieved through software applications.
Perform architectural reviews for developed applications.
Work with software architects to define Architecture Strategy for existing .Net based platforms.
