STUDENT-VIC Radio Program Director ('26-'27)
About The Position
VIC Radio is seeking a Program Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role requires a student who is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills. The Program Director will be responsible for managing the radio automation system (Zetta), collaborating with the Talent Coordinator and Music Director to create weekly schedules, and automating pre-recorded programs. The position also involves attending weekly Executive Staff and General Staff meetings. Applicants must have at least one semester of experience with VIC Radio and be a collaborative team player. The pay rate for this position is $16.00/hr.
Requirements
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be a strong communicator both in-person and via email.
- Must be competent in the operation of the radio automation system, Zetta.
- Must have been a member of VIC Radio for at least one semester.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
Responsibilities
- Determine the schedule for the week, including automating pre-recorded programs when needed, in conjunction with the Talent Coordinator and Music Director.
- Operate the radio automation system, Zetta.
- Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff meetings.
- Attend General Staff meetings.
