About The Position

The Student Services Coordinator develops, implements, and oversees programs that support student well-being, academic success, and social-emotional development. The role serves as a liaison between students, families, school staff, and community partners to help ensure students can access the resources and support they need.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage student support services, including counseling, behavioral interventions, attendance, and family engagement.
Serve as a primary contact for student case management and work with counselors, social workers, and special education staff to develop intervention strategies.
Lead initiatives to improve student attendance, engagement, and school climate.
Monitor and evaluate student needs using data collection, stakeholder feedback, and academic and behavioral trends.
Facilitate student support team (SST) meetings and collaborate with teachers to develop and monitor student support plans.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines related to student services, including McKinney-Vento, foster youth, and 504 plans.
Coordinate external partnerships and referrals for services such as mental health, crisis response, housing, and healthcare.
Organize and lead professional development for staff on trauma-informed practices, behavioral supports, and equity in student services.
Communicate regularly with families to build trust and provide updates on student progress and available resources.
