About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to support the student community as a comprehensive resource and facilitator. The role focuses on the success of students, programs, and the school by fostering positive attitudes and relationships and enhancing student life. The coordinator advises students on academic and related concerns, supports a secure and educationally conducive environment, manages tutoring, helps identify at-risk students, and contributes to retention and student satisfaction efforts.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate key statistics related to student retention.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Confer with and advise students on academic, disciplinary, and related issues, including poor attendance and school performance.
• Assist the Dean and Program Supervisors in maintaining a secure and educationally conducive environment.
• Manage the student tutoring program and identify and assist at-risk students who exhibit academic deficiencies.
• Oversee activities to improve student retention and satisfaction and provide feedback to campus management.
• Establish and maintain current community resource center information in the library to address student issues.
