About The Position
Student Success Coaches support at-risk students in accessing a quality high school education through the ThrivePoint system. The role involves working with students in person and virtually, helping them identify and achieve academic and personal goals, and providing appropriate support and interventions. Coaches work closely with content teachers, use standardized benchmarks to guide students, and review course progress. This is not an online-only position. The stated hours are 7:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with students daily, in person and virtually.
- Work closely with content teachers.
- Ensure students complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure students receive appropriate support and interventions.
- Guide students using standardized benchmarks.
- Review students’ course progress.
- Communicate with students, parents, teachers, and site leadership.
