About The Position

The School of Pharmacy seeks an experienced Student Success and Assessment Coordinator to support programmatic assessment, accreditation, student success, data analysis and reporting, and assessment operations. The Coordinator works collaboratively with School leadership, faculty, staff, and students to facilitate systematic assessment of student and program outcomes and support data-informed continuous quality improvement. The position coordinates assessment activities; maintains and analyzes student and program outcome data; supports accreditation reporting and documentation; monitors student academic performance and progression; and coordinates School-level examinations, surveys, and other assessment activities. It also supports student learning and success through interventions, tutoring coordination, individual test-taking guidance, and discussions of approaches to school-life balance and test-related anxiety. The Coordinator contributes to LECOM’s mission through institutional activities, scholarly activity, fundraising support, and community involvement. The role requires maintaining confidentiality of student information and working professionally and collaboratively with institutional stakeholders.

Requirements

A master’s degree in education, educational assessment, data analytics, statistics, education research, health professions education, public health, business administration, or a related field is required.
Experience with programmatic assessment, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement.
Experience with student success, academic progression, remediation, or early-alert programs.
Experience administering standardized or programmatic examinations and assessments.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data visualization, statistical, or business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, R, or similar applications.
Strong computer literacy with the Microsoft Office Suite and accurate data-entry skills.
Experience with assessment, examination, survey, or learning-management systems.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain an established work schedule.
Ability to work independently and as directed by the Dean, follow instructions, make sound decisions, and assume responsibility.
Ability to initiate appropriate action and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent grammar, writing, and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

Track pharmacy-program milestone metrics identified by the Dean.
Identify students struggling with pharmaceutical science coursework and coordinate targeted interventions or tutoring.
Coordinate collection and analysis of programmatic data to meet Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) standards.
Administer standardized pharmacy benchmarks and track student performance.
Analyze internal examination data and provide the Dean and faculty with item analysis and reliability reports.
Compile, evaluate, and report longitudinal student-performance data and partner with the Dean to translate findings into programmatic changes.
Develop and implement learning strategies to facilitate the educational process.
Meet one-on-one with students to discuss test-taking strategies.
Discuss school-life balance with students, including healthy eating, sleep, and study habits.
Assist students experiencing anxiety related to testing or the classroom.
Manage and facilitate program activities, including classes, training, conferences, seminars, and special projects.
As appropriate, provide student advisement and support services, coordinate curriculum, and serve as a student liaison and advocate with faculty and staff.
Develop and maintain records and databases concerning student and program activities, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Write, edit, and coordinate development of course catalogs, promotional and educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and brochures as appropriate.
Promote and preserve the mission of LECOM and demonstrate knowledge of accreditation processes, governing-body responsibilities, and institutional operations.
Communicate with affiliated organizations, consultants, and vendors on matters of mutual importance.
Represent the department professionally with faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
Maintain FERPA and other student-information confidentiality and security in accordance with applicable law and institutional policy and procedure.
Participate in designated institutional activities and perform other duties assigned by the Dean or designee to support daily operations.
Assist with institutional fundraising and participate in the LECOM Scholarship Auction.
Participate in scholarly activity to enrich and broaden the student learning experience.
Represent LECOM through active community involvement, including serving on boards, participating in community fundraisers, and outreach.
