About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach the course FEM2111: Class, Work, Gender and (Re)Production during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course examines the effects of gender, social class and racialization on women's paid and unpaid work, care work, the definition of skills and of the different types and fields of employment, as well as on contemporary politics of production and reproduction. The course will be offered in person and is instructed in English.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of the course.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as may be modified by provincial law.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course FEM2111: Class, Work, Gender and (Re)Production.
  • Provide instruction in English.
  • Offer the course in person.
